Characteristics of Scripture - Part 3: Authority and Necessity

Authority is an attribute of Scripture whereby as the inspired Word of the Sovereign God, it has the right to command and prohibit what people are to believe, do and be.

Necessity is an attribute of Scripture whereby it provides the knowledge for humans to properly understand their condition before God, to learn of God’s remedy for their desperate state, and to follow his will for their lives.
