28. Two Perspectives and Two Masters | Matthew 6:22-24

Sep 18, 2022    Pastor James Zik

Two treasuries, two perspectives, and two masters. After telling His followers to invest in heaven instead of earth, Jesus discusses the perspective they are to have by using the metaphor of vision. He says that you have one of two eyes: a good eye or a bad eye. Christians, being shaped by truth of Scripture, have a good eye. They have a healthy view of the world. Those who see this world as all their is have a bad eye and live in darkness. Jesus concludes this section by teaching that you can only serve one master: God or money. There is only room for one thing on the throne of every human heart. Join us as we explore the two perspective and two masters that Jesus presents to his followers.
