Serve

SERVING over SITTING, it is one of our values.

We believe that we are called to be active in our faith and follow the example of Jesus Christ by serving in His name. There are many different opportunities for you to serve at Beach Road Baptist Church.

  • Family Ministry

Our Family Ministry, Main Street, is an exciting place to serve. The ages of the children on Main Street range from infants through 5th grade. There are leadership opportunities or behind the scene opportunities on Main Street.

Contact Pastor Daniel Justice if you are interested in being a part of this fun filled ministry at danielwjustice@gmail.com

  • First Impressions

The goal of the First Impressions Team is to create a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes all feel welcome. There are several different ways to serve on the First Impressions Team:

    • Parking Team: As the first face of Beach Road, the parking team not only welcomes arriving cars but also helps with directing traffic safely and efficiently.
    • Greeters: Standing at the entrance, greeters welcome all with a smile, pass out bulletins and answer any questions.
    • Ushers: Monitoring the sanctuary, the ushers are able to help people with seating or special assistance. They are also responsible for collecting the offering.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the First Impressions Team, contact Pastor James Zik at james.zik@gmail.com

    • supply snacks
    • help with retreats

  • Music Ministry

Can you play an instrument or sing? The choir sings at Sunday Worship services and special services. Rehearsal is Wednesday nights after The Crossing Bible Study around 7:30 p.m. The Worship Band, under the direction of Burt Elmore, is responsible for the Sunday Worship music and the music for special celebrations. The band meets Sunday mornings to rehearse.

  • Prayer Team

On Sunday our prayer team meets during the music at the begining of each worship service. During that time, the team prays over any requests that have been submitted.
