Living in Christ centered relationships that glorify God and reach the world...that is what our Missions Team strives to do whether it is in the community, surrounding areas or somewhere worldwide.
April 3 - 16, 2018
Mozambique is an area with little Christian witness and has an animistic belief with witch doctors and the worship of ancestors. The mission team will work with Chopi people teaching the Good News of Jesus Christ.
In Uganda the team will show the love of Christ in northern Uganda refugee camps. Over 800,000 people, many being Christians, have fled South Sudan civil war and famine with few possessions and live in overcrowded camps. Anyone interested can go on one or both trips.
If you are interested in going, call the church office for more information.
The Disaster Relief Missions help meet the needs of people during man-made and natural disasters. A Disaster Relief volunteer may be trained to do:
- mass feeding
- emergency childcare
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:14-16
If you are interested in being a part of the disaster relief team, email the church at email@example.com
The Kairos Prison Missions visits and spreads God's Word to inmates at various prisions. The volunteers touch and change many lives. There are opportunities to interact with inmates or there are opportunities to support the volunteers that interact with the inmates.
If you are interested in serving on the Kairos team, please email the church at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Kairos team invites you to join in fellowship and cookie baking February 17 and 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The team needs to prepare 410 dozen cookies for the upcoming prison ministry weekend in March.
Camp Ta-Pa-Win-Go is a non-denominational Bible camp nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee.
Each year families and individuals from Beach Road go and serve in many different aspects of the camp life. It is an enriching adventure for all ages to share the Gospel with others.
